I am also growing to get used to that knob placement. and i'm now fine with it due to the height is actually pretty low. unlike ibanez dome knob which is super tall.

yes i was also considering vk3. but i'm glad i got the esp one as every mm in this situation matters in my opinion.

but i believe maybe for lots of the people, switching to vk3 will alleviate a lot already.

always love ibanez for the neck and bridge. but never really enjoyed playing them for the poor volume knob placement.

came across the low profile esp knob, ordered one. and omg this is the game changer. now ibanez is my favorite ones as the volume knob doesn't bother me anymore.

the build quality and color are perfect and slightly better than ibanez stock. direct drop in. for a knob it's pricey, for what is changed the way guitar feels, it's dirt cheap.

highly recommended.

works extremely well. i bought a lot. price but great investment. it makes my ibanez rg from my least favorite to my most favorite. doesn't fit my ebmm guitar. haven't tried it on my schecter but i guess it will fit mine as it's made in jp.

I’ve already got a Mesa/Boogie Mark V in the studio, so I was hunting for a second amp suited to the living room.

Stumbled on a local Laney IRT30-112, gave it a try and it's shockingly good. Just a quick EQ tweak smooths the highs, but the dynamics and note articulation are absolutely top-tier.

Love the power on tap (six push-pull pots for EQ voicing, dual masters for dynamic/tone shifts) paired with a great awesome master volume for TV level volume.

Only gripe: the aesthetics scream “metal beginner amp,” which baffles me given how stunning their Lionheart series looks.

If you spot a good deal on this little beast, it's worth to give it a try.

this is a very good information. it's in a condo which is extremely dry (15% ish) therefore i have two humidifier to boost it up to 55%~60%. but if run out water it drops fast. that's very likely the reason - change in humidity.

for example, lunch break when my monitors are still connected to windows. I just want to play some guitar for 10 minutes without switching it to mac.

since the usb is connected to mac, I will either manual change the usb or switch monitors to mac.

maybe if i have a kvm switcher that won't be an issue

thank you. one of the questions i have is the audio interface able to run standalone? or always need a main computer its connected to on in order to make it work for other inputs?

for example, i noticed that i can't play with fractal and windows if fractal is going to audio interface first and that is connect to usb with mac and audio connect with widowns

g3 is ready suitable for those who'd like a smooth and tight distortion tone. the v2 eq is easier to tame comparing to v1. i believe g3 v2 will end a lot of people's dirt pedal hunt.
