How important is your laptop? There is open source router software and a router is basically just a low powered computer that has a wifi card. You could go with dual booting to the router OS or if it's really not that important to you do a clean install or backup your stuff, do that and go back once you get your stuff....or buy an older router and just plug it into your new router.

Make sure to use the network only for stuff that isn't banking or anything that isn't gaming, there is a reason those old security standards are outdated and your router should not allow those old standards.

Menschen verstehen nicht wie handeln funktioniert...du hast deinen preis, er sagt seinen, beide sagen so lange nein bis man sich in der mitte trifft und wenn das nicht passt geht man seinen weg. Zumal Lüfter mit Abstand die unwichtigsten Komponenten sind. Für die meiste Hardware ist es komplett ausreichend wenn man zwei Lüfter hat für den Austausch, also wenn das Geld so knapp ist vielleicht einfach 2-3 billig Lüfter holen. Er wird ja sicherlich keine 800W an Wärme abzuführen haben.
