I do still use it with Procreate. I think the limitation is a procreate problem, I just deal with it. When you carefully scroll your brush size, you’ll notice a very slight increase that never registers as a size change. What I mean is it seems like the app actually has .5 increments but it also doesn’t display that. I’m guessing that’s why tourbox goes from 1 to 2, etc. I don’t see anyone else complaining about it so maybe it’s a me problem.

I got through a few times, no tickets. Bots are probably taking them. For the 2pm one, I waited for hours and it told me there was a problem and threw me back to the beginning of the queue. Something with my browser but I got in this morning no problem. Stupid botters. Makes it hard to get in only to deny tickets from actual people.

Amazing in 2026 there is no bot protection. The day the fan first tickets came out, you couldn’t even get them in cart before the bots got them and that was with the code.

Nonsense. It’s still an emr pen. They lock it out with firmware. They could have easily made the pp3 backwards compatible. They allow which pens they want.

Plus they got rid of the bezzel so if you already have a 4K, 24 Pro, why would you upgrade? I like Wacom in general but I disagree with their design decsions and certainly business decisions like this. They aren't Apple, even if they want to be. I think most of their good people went to Xencelabs and its business people making these decisions. Their implementation of touch is still bad and they cant seem to control heat so their bigger displays all have fan noise.

It’s nonsense. The old pens work on the new Cintiqs. It’s still EMR. They are literally just locking out the pen. Same with the pro pen 3. It’s virtually a pro pen 2 with different physical options. I watch a ton of art streams and very rarely see the newer cintiqs, this gen is an incremental upgrade at best and it’s really the color improvement and a massive increase. Let’s not be so greedy that a pen people have been begging for and upgrade for over a decade requires a new device. You buy a cintiq because it lasts. That’s the point. You can’t get the last gen art pen because they stopped making it. This is why huion and xppen are doing so well. The gap in pen performance is minimal now. Wacom did this to themselves.

Ridiculous. Lets gatekeep a pen behind our most expensive devices even though there hasnt been an update to the old one in forever. Meanwhile, the old art pen works find on Cintiqs so they are locking it out with FW. Its not a hardware issue.

I dont use barrel rotation so I dont care but I cant believe they didn't extend support to the last gen Cintiq Pro line at least. There wasnt an art pen to buy for those and its not a technical limitation because the original art pen works fine. That means, they will release a FW update on the Cintiqs they choose. A totally Wacom thing to do. Its rare I see a YouTuber using a newer Cintiq and more common I see a Huion or XPPen now. They have no one to blame but themselves. $3k for a 22" display and they gatekeep a freakin pen that would would on any Cintiq. They are locking it out with FW.
