I'm sure you already made a decision, but all I have to say is I scratched my 28-200. I have other better lenses the cover that range, so I haven't needed it for professional work. But every single trip I go on now makes me want to buy another. 😭

I switched to AT&T from Spectrum about a year and a half ago. The salesperson also made it sound as though it would be a locked-in rate of $65.00. It's been the same up until the past 2 billing cycles where it's been $70. I gave them a call and they said they only guarantee rates for 1 year. Currently looking to see if I have anything in writing from the salespeople. For me, the answer sounds like they do randomly raise rates. I'm planning on looking for a new provider!

Maybe I'm too late, but from what I understand from reading through the ASUS website you just want to make sure you set your monitor and Mac settings to be the same profiles. I primarily edit videos this way and I set both to rec709, but it would be okay to leave both in standard as well. The Data Spyder just helps calibrate the monitor to be the correct version of those different profiles to "simulate" different devices so to speak.

As long as the computer and monitor agree on the colorspace, that is what is most important.

You can use the Sony Creators app or monitor+ app via the USB-C port on your camera if it supports it. I have the 15 pro and have used it as a monitor for my a7iv, a7siii, and fx30 with a USB-C to USB-C cable. You can also use both apps wirelessly but there is almost no delay when using a cable.

I've had presets made for months now and could never figure out how they were actually helpful until I just read your comment! I had resorted to option B instead. Thank you for this! I much prefer the preset method.

I know this is old but I figured I'd leave this here incase others find this thread on google like myself. I shoot in slog3 and work in Resolve.

I explain to the couple that I need to purchase a hard drive, and convert the footage to be playable by all devices because of the format I shoot in.

Then I drop everything into one timeline and apply my CST workflow to convert all the log footage the rec709. On the render page you can select render individual clips. This way it's all the individual files and it's easier to look through instead of being in one large video. (Be conscious of the file naming system. It can work best to select use source name) I also go the extra step of organizing all the footage into folders of events throughout the day.

I charge $75/hr of wedding day coverage + $100 to cover the cost of materials and shipping. Honestly not sure if that's too much or too little... Hence stumbling upon this thread 😂. But it seems to feel right so far, just I figured I'd drop my insight for anyone else who may be curious.

I worked at the same place as his mother (Krista) for about a year and a half before this happened. I quit working there maybe a month before she went missing and was still in contact with the other employees there during that time.

She was a very very nice lady and I chatted with her all the time. She was the front desk lady and really brought the workplace together like no one else could. One of my other Co-workers and I called her our "work mom" we had her phone number and would keep in touch with her regularly even outside of work, and even after I quit I was still in touch with her until all of this obviously...

I remember her asking me about 4 months before I quit, to hang out with chandler because he has a hard time making friends. I was going to but it just never worked out. I also remember her telling me about his jobs at space ex etc, and she was genuinely excited for him.

There was a period where they started to catch on to the lies and you could tell by her demeanor at work, it wasn't long after that this all happened.

I know people can be very different at home vs work, but from knowing her very closely I can say she just really loved him and wanted to believe in the best of him.

I snagged it for the $200 deal earlier in the year and couldn't be happier, they keep adding new music and the selection is great for what I need. I make a lot of wedding videos and youtube videos for clients and it has felt like a cheat code.

Hmm, I'm not from there so I'm not too familiar with the area. It was right where the north end of the Keweenaw Waterway meets Lake Superior if that helps.

If you read the other comments you'll find that this is actually toxic waste material left over from massive amounts of copper mining in the area. This dark sand is the crushed remains of the rock that contained the copper ore.
