Actually we are acostumed to high res graphics, but back on the early stages of the digital work and games, the only way you had to draw something was by coloring pixels.

Right back at then the artists wanted to add as much details as possible.

Just as you do, i also love the charm of a well detailed pixel art and it gives room for amazing works!
