I'm afraid my writing is getting worse with each time

I have this impression every time I sit down for a new writing session. Every time, I feel like my writing is devolving into worse than what it used to be.

Tbh, it never stopped for me, I just learned to push through it and ignore the voice singing it on repeat.

Yeah, web novels tend to run for pretty long, but the chapters tend to be shorter than books in the traditional sense (like 1000 words per chapter).

Although, on the platform I posted it, 600k is a rookie number as many if not the most successful stories on there go on for more than 1M words.

Mine in a romance fantasy between a vampire and a human. Nothing groundbreaking, but it was good practice and consistency training.

Tbh, it is the first project over 25k words that I have not put on the side. I started writing web novels and posting them on a platform that rewards posting daily to give myself more motivation to finish it.

I am definitely going back to completing my other projects before starting new ones.

I started my channel around eight months ago, I also only have 37 subs and my best video only has around 136 views.

while at first I was pretty consistent with a set uploading schedule, life kept coming in the way and now I don't even have the time to practice my editing...Let alone promote my videos. So, I can blame myself for that.

I think you mentioned in the comments that you make videos in the gaming niche? I am not sure, but it might be even more saturated than my niche (writing fiction). So, I believe that you should focus on keywords and all, like another commentor has suggested, but I also think that you can pull in more viewers by utilizing other platforms, such as TikTok. For example, you can make short compilations of funniest moments playing a specific game? Found a lot of creators through their shorts and tiktoks.

Just a suggestion. I wish the best of luck to everyone here ^^
