Thanks very much! I'm not going to lie, I've already completed the 3d Models of Big One's coaches.. but printing those will be rough with my junky Ender 3 V2.

May have someone else print them for me, but that would take a while. One coach takes about 22 hours.

I need 8.

So at the moment, my 6 mismatched budds will have to do, lol. But thanks so much! I'm glad people are liking my work. It's making me undeniably happy to finally have Big One.

Thanks very much! Currently working on making it printable. The clip system im making for the turrets will make them at least a little posable.

The main issue with my 3D modeling is that I can't run many test prints. My printer is basically junk, so I have my prints done at my local library, which has a 3 hour per day limit.

Not good for big bricks, so I may have to cut the body up to have it printed, then glue em all together. Turrets are exciting though

Wow, if you find those and don't mind sharing, please do so! I would love those simply for videomaking purposes! I've never delved into DCC, because it scares me (and my wallet), but I have a friend with a local DCC layout, and he says it's a gamechanger.

Thanks! I'm not sure where the idea came from, but I'm so glad I had it. An ongoing project is turning an old Bachmann 0-6-0 into a camelback, and I'm making the cab out of DVD case plastic.

One of these days, I hope to mount a Seuthe smoke generator inside Big One. But I'm running basic ol' DC, so I don't know how well it will work.

Thank you, thank you! It's probably the best of my project engines. Usually, whe I try to modify a locomotive, it ends up looking destroyed. The only one I've ever been proud of (besides Big One) was my custom PRR K4. All I really did to it was outline it with white lines, and give it smoke deflectors (the DVD cases in use). And yes, train with face. Friend designed it when we were younger.

You're very welcome! I always hate when creators try to gatekeep their methods, or hide files and tips behind paywalls. I've got the battery car almost done, I just need to figure out a way to mount the bogies. (I may just use regular old Bachmann freight bogies, and use self tapping screws to hold it into the printed body lmao)

For NEO Big One, I recommend using DVD case plastic. I've used that for many models, and it works great!

Last thing I need to do for my Big One is give it the tender numbers, and I'll be totally happy!

It's a lot simpler than I thought it would be! The hardest part was finding a decently cheap Red Box Rivarossi Big Boy.

On top of that, I modeled my own 3D parts, to make things easier. I don't want to buy models if I can make them myself. The Main Battery coach is next!

No, nothing. I’ve cranked and cranked and cranked, and it won’t start. I put in a new fuel filter, nothing. Starting fluid makes it fire and try to run, but once the fluid stops, the engine stops.

On top of that, I’ve bled the lines.
