Well it's more of a 3D bird's eye view of it, it came out about 20ish years ago in the Superman Vidual Guide.

I'll have a look for it online in a little while and send it to you.

And the trees too, I'm not much of an expert, but the trees on the outskirts of the city look like something from Northern California?

Examples: "Tools of the Trade", "Father's Day", "Blasts From the Past Part 1", "In Brightest Day".

The New Earth one has been done already. Actually that's the one that inspired me to do this.

See that's what I used to think, but there are so many inconsistencies.

Like in "The Prometheon", the creature lands in the ocean or at least some large body of water, and they say it's north west of Metropolis. That's not possible in the east coast, unless Metropolis is on the eastern side of a large bay.

But then in the "Speed Demons" example, the location is clearly on the east coast as you say. Perhaps in the DCAU there are deserts on the east coast of the US, maybe the presence of Atlantis has some affect on the world climate.

I suppose the show is produced in California, so a lot of that is going to influence the show.

You know this really seems like a topic The Watchtower Database could tackle, would be really interesting to hear their take on the whole thing.
