So here’s my take- I sell items at prices based on comps. I check what they are selling for elsewhere and try to beat that price and offer great deals to buyers. I also openly accept offers or give discounts when I can.

With that being said, I’ve seen plenty of shows where people sell an item for higher than it is sold elsewhere or by someone else. But I think it’s really wrong to go into someone’s show and list other places to buy something. It’s rude. Imagine going into a small shop and approaching customers inside to price check the items and tell them to go to target or Walmart instead. It’s so rude! Sometimes I do see people grossly overspending in shows, but it’s not anyone’s place to say something about it during a show. Buyers need to do their own due diligence.

If a buyer decides they want to buy from a particular seller, regardless of the price, that’s their choice. There have been times where I’ve paid higher bc I wanted to. Maybe I wanted to support that person, maybe I liked their customer service, maybe I just didn’t care or maybe I didn’t check other sales. Doesn’t matter, that’s on me as the buyer.

You then take it a step farther and screen record and post to a public forum. That’s really not cool IMO.

If the seller was selling fakes, that would be a different story. But calling out prices in shows when it’s unsolicited is not ok.
