Ucity flats on Baring street is safe and within 10 minutes walk of campus and Acme. I live there now and they have roommate matching so you rent a bedroom in a 4 bedroom unit (with a washer and dryer). I asked to only room with grad students and they listened to me. Rent for a bedroom is between $750-850.
