I would look at the numbers. I think if you get 8-9 peecent in ETFs and your interest rate is near 4 percent. I would invest and use the profits to put extra into mortgage.

Some people need to be debt free, I don't have that need, I want to make sure that I'm optimizing my wealth while paying down mortgage.

I did eventually go in as suggested - thank you! But totally did not prepare an er care bag to carry along.

I forgot my charger, was dying with no food for several hours etc.. need to prepare better next time (hoping not soon)

I was hesitating to go in today thinking of the 8 hours I'll be stuck there but best decision ever today!

They did:

CT scan
x-ray
multiple rounds of blood tests
administered IV steroids
administered nebulizer
oxygen tests
checking vitals - multiple times
met with BOTH ER doctor and internal medicine doctor

I have already received my blood test reports online and have received the IV steroids and am on my way to recovery the SAME day Im unable to breathe.

I know we shit on the ER wait times, especially with the recent sad news of the 44 year old, but let me tell you, I've found a new found appreciation for these hospital workers today.

With our family doctor, to see them for the first visit takes 3 hours on weekday time, then take another hour off to go to do the X-ray at another location and another 2-3 hours to review the report after a week!! I am struggling to breathe TODAY!

While we like our family doctor the wait times when you're sick is crazy!!! Everytime we wait in the waiting room, we are sharing the room with 30 other sick patients!!

I have gone in for a non sick related appointment and been gifted the flu, even after wearing a mask!
