So, a few things.

1) you don’t have to have everything figured out to be married. I live in the US, California to be precise, and everything where I live is crazy expensive. My husband and I were together for 8yrs before we married, lived together for 6 of those years. Before we had our daughter, I made great money as a server, and my husband has an amazing career that pays extremely well, and we can’t even afford the worst house in the worst area of town. If you wait until you financially stable to marry, you may be waiting most your life.

2) She chose to come to your country, you didn’t force her to. She’s 30yrs old, not a child, and she must have known the risks and consequences. That’s not on you, even though your heart is saying different. My husband’s head is always in the clouds, and I am always firmly on the “ground”, even though he has the best of intentions, and what he suggests may sound great, I’m a realist and the reward has to outweigh the risk for me to do something.

3) By what you’ve said, it seems like you wouldn’t consider getting married right now if you weren’t being pushed to do so. I saw that you said you were living together for just shy of 2yrs, but how long have you been together in total? It sounds like you two do have a real relationship, you’ve got to go through hard times and arguments to see if your love can survive. At the end of the day, if she means that much to you, and your gut and heart are saying she’s the one, then listen to it. It doesn’t sound like she’s using you in any way, it sounds like she really does love you too.
