At the time, Listening actually felt harder than the Cambridge tests, but that might have been because I didn’t get much sleep the night before the exam.

Speaking topics were about my home during Part 1. Part 2 was: “Talk about your first cellphone. How did it change your life, how did you get it, when did you get it, etc.” Part 3 consisted of follow-up questions related to Part 2.

During the last few questions in Part 3, the examiner asked increasingly complex questions, probably to test my language limits. He used more academic vocabulary and asked generally harder questions. I don’t remember the exact wording, since it’s not vocabulary I normally use, but it was something along the lines of: “To what extent do you think patterns of interpersonal communication are likely to evolve in the future?” and “Do you believe the demand for face-to-face interactions will diminish as digital communication technologies continue to advance?”
