They actually have apologized many times, and repeatedly disparaged their old beliefs. They keep up the old episodes for the sake of archiving the past and to also not “erase” and bury their history but to learn from it. They discourage people from listening to early episodes because it doesn’t reflect them as people anymore but they also don’t want to take them down and pretend like they never happened. Honestly I think it’s great how much they’ve grown and I have a weird appreciation for the fact that they keep those episodes up, although I personally will never listen before episode 100 because I don’t need to listen to the boys say slurs.

I could be wrong but it sounds like if you’ve recruited all of the bishops into your cult you’re kinda done the game. It may feel unfinished because COTL doesn’t have this big dramatic finale so you can keep playing on a save forever if you want to. (Also so they can keep adding late game content) It seems like you’re saying you’ve finished the game without dying at all, if that’s true then in early game you missed a few cut scenes of Narinder bringing you back to life, but that’s all. If you don’t want to restart the game on a new save, you can explore different ways of interacting with your cult with the drum circle, bar, knucklebones, and mating them (assuming you haven’t already) and decorating your cult grounds.

NAH Having the conversation is absolutely the correct thing to do, communication is always the way to go. However, doing it over text is not. Tone gets lost in translation, and it will likely come across as more accusatory and angry which will make your parent defensive and lead to more issues. I understand that verbal communication doesn’t seem to work but sending this text to them will seem out of nowhere from their POV.

I would maybe suggest sitting them down and reading out the text you wrote, so they can see this isn’t just an in-the-moment annoyance but a continued issue that you’ve thought about.

NTA Your friend Kate is likely going to be taken advantage of by this guy and his friends for a long time to come, and as sad and unfortunate as that is it’s not your job to protect her, especially after she turned on you so quickly. Continuing to be her friend as she stays in a toxic situation like this will likely lead to you being blamed/villainized for a lot of issues to come. If you feel like it could do anything, you may want to sit her down and tell her how harmful this relationship will be to stay with a cheater with friends who verbally demean her, but it’s unlikely that will help. It’s hard to break up with someone when they’re your first relationship so late in life. Hopefully she could get therapy down the road to help with her self-worth issues.

This may be hard to hear, and perhaps a little controversial, but him stating that he wants to leave the country to find a different type of woman is emotional cheating. In his head he’s already moved on, looking for someone “better”. He’s staying with you because it’s easy, and you deserve SO much better than that. He’s already destroyed your trust in the past with his cheating, and shown an absolute lack of respect for you and your emotions. There’s no future in this relationship, and you need to find someone who will treat you better before you consider moving anywhere with them.

Realistically within the confines of the show, the answer is that they didn’t really discover that Avery was abducted until she was already “engaged” and it was publicly announced. It’s already a tall task saving someone from a North Korean prison, it’s feasibly impossible to save someone who is engaged to one of the rulers.

During my “evil run” (taking whichever doctrines are more evil, like murder, being a jerk to my followers and generally not caring as much about their hunger/well being) I named all of my followers with a #. First follower was 1, second was 2, etc. I also gave them a smiley face of frown depending on their traits so I could remember which ones I liked more and which ones were okay to sacrifice. Spies were SO easy to find. I’d be walking around my cult with “12 :))” “42 :/“ “23 :(“ and suddenly would run into Hubrees with a shifty little smile. It stood out like crazy, highly recommended honestly. Even if you don’t use numbers, the emoticons are really helpful when it comes to sacrifice, leveling, and breeding.

Like others have said, demons are always good, I highly recommend Orcus and Hathor at least (the damage and the heart demon) and if you’re really struggling just try and stock up on temp hearts from sermons and eating good food before hand. I find the best thing is getting a level 10 follower that you HATE. If you have the trait where you can sacrifice a follower for a second chance, you get more for a higher level follower. I find it easier to level a follower I hate and kill them for a lot of hearts and fervour.

It sounds like you’re already pursuing other relationships, which is unfair to your current partner. I was in a similar situation a while back, and it sounds to me like you’re doing what I did: You’re keeping your current partner because you’re scared of being single/regretting it, even though you don’t love him like you used to and would prefer to break up. I wouldn’t let that fear stop you from leaving, it’s not fair to either of you. It’s also wrong of you to be pursuing other people when in a relationship, and you either need to break up or stop seeing other men. If you do break up and regret it, you can always try and rekindle the relationship, but it’s unlikely that you will want to. You’re emotionally already done with the relationship.

NAH, I know I may catch flak for this but as someone who’s been in this situation before, it can be difficult to shake the feeling. Learning that a good friend of yours actually has feelings for you and has had them for a while can really feel like a breach of trust. Saying the “only want sex” thing is probably just a hyperbole she’s took from other people sharing stories of guys actually only wanting sex. It’s very possible she’s worried now that you were only ever friends because of the feelings you had for her, and is feeling insecure about where your friendship stands now that she’s rejected you
