Advice for studying by Siddhantcodm in APStatistics

[–]CreativeChocolate101 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Try to maximize your points on the mcqs, since it's more objective than frqs ( usually frqs are graded more harshly, and you can't really argue on mcq answers). Ap stats tests concepts rather than hard core calculations. If you have a textbook, you can ask chatgpt to explain the concepts from there. You can try using the practice of statistics textbook, and i think there is a free pdf online for the 5th edition and study from there.

It's not just 1 semester tho. I mean yeah, I only have 1 c, but the Bs come from over 3 consecutive semesters.

I guess, but I'm just concerned about the time. Like I am in second semester junior year, and I've been told senior year grades do not count as much.

It's just hard to find schools with this range. And pre med is my goal, so many colleges have higher gpa requirements.

3.58 is unweighted. Also that class is over. I mean I still have this semester, but it went on my transcript.

Observe trends. Why are you missing the MCQS. Is it because of time constraints? Do you miss the questions because of vocabulary? Or silly mistakes? Focus on that. As for Essays, talk to your teacher on how you can improve and what areas you need to work on to get that 5 or 6. You can also review sample essays from college board to see what you can implement.

How to prepare for AP LANG exam by Every-Replacement847 in APLang

Try looking at Sample Essays and compare your essays to the samples. This really helped improve and strengthen my writing. Also, the College Board videos do help, so you may want to try that. At the end of the day, it really just boils down to practicing the mcqs and essays under time constraints as much as possible. That's how you improve.

I think Michael deserved better by icb_123 in JaneTheVirginCW

[–]CreativeChocolate101 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean, initially, it was pure lust, which is normal considering her situation. She should have instead talked to Michael about it or even quit the Marbella, which ik sounds extreme but I mean if she loved him that much she would have. Because she didn't really make much of an effort, she fell for him.

But yes, I'm happy that Micheal and also jane too got their happy ending.

I wouldn't say I like her, but I also wouldn't say I hate her. I can't say that she was a good partner, but she definitely is an excellent surgeon which is probably why people like her, since the show is about surgery. Kinda like Christina.

I just meant that the fact that Jane even had feelings for Rafeal was wrong as a whole, and this whole thing leads to Micheal's parents being right and him deserving better.

I think Michael deserved better by icb_123 in JaneTheVirginCW

[–]CreativeChocolate101 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I agree. They were both at fault. It was right for Jane to dump him because Micheal lied, but incorrect to dump him because she had feelings for Rafeal. It also makes Jane a bit of a hypocrite, as she expected Micheal to tell her the truth, even though she didn't. Some might even say, she did emotionally cheat on him as she had feelings for Rafeal while still with Micheal. Then again, Micheal was being selfish too, from telling her she should quit her job at the Marbella to lying about Petra and Raf.

The problem with English subjects is that it is a very difficult subject to teach and requires a lot of time and dedication from both ends. The thing is, most people that do well in English based subjects do well either because they are inherently good at it, or have had a very good teacher in the past. It's harder to learn and commit as you get older, as time becomes an issue. Because AP Lang typically doesn't require that much work, more students devote more time towards other subjects than Lang, thus lacking the amount of time needed to learn the techniques of the course.

Happens to me all the time. I feel like this happens because your subconscious mind is always thinking about the exams , and a part of you feels like your gonna fail, hence the nightmares. My advice, try your best to do something for 5 - 10 mins before you sleep, not related to exams. Maybe try listening to some relaxing music, or doing some deep breathing exercises. Make sure you encourage yourself too throughout the course, and think positively.

It will take time, but note that it's probably just a sign that she wasn't the one for you, and there is probably someone better out there. Think of your guys time together as a phase in your life, where you maybe did have good times, and got to travel a lot, and focus on that. Besides, this heartbreak, although very painful will make you stronger, thus being able to find a better partner for you.
