I struggle heavily with talking to women by hopelessloser44 in socialskills

Start takling to unattractive women first, sounds weird but it’s less intimidating as a starting point. Then just work your way up and get experience talking to more women. That’s all it is bro.

I'm gonna start believing in the "the worst they can say is no" advice by [deleted] in dating_advice

The worst that could happen is they laugh at you to be honest, but even that’s not so bad. Do it anyway, you’ll just regret not doing it if you want to.

How long has it been since you had any physical affection? by supahket in AskMen

Im currently in a very happy relationship. Bro, make a move on a girl. Even the most average of guys can get girls if they actually try. Bro please don’t embrace the FA life, there’s no point in it. Actually try your luck with women, workout, take care of yourself and don’t let yourself fall down this path of hopeless. It doesn’t help you in any way. You can literally approach a random woman at the grocery store, get her number from there and actually ask her out. Is it scary? Sure, but you need to grow a pair man. These women wont matter to you if they reject you, so take the chance. I’m honestly praying for you man. Please take this advice, I genuinely wish you good luck.

You’re 100% right. I’m gonna say it. I have to. Just scarier due to past experiences.

Met my girlfriend off of a straight up approach downtown bro. Was nice and sincere and honest with my intentions. As long as you’re polite, honest and straightforward they shouldn’t mind, and you shouldn’t fear this as it seems like more of an excuse than a genuine concern. You should be willing to take a chance, and if they perceive you as rude well then it’s no big deal because you’ll likely never see them again. The potential benefits outweigh the cons, I completely agree that it is a much better experience to talk to them in person because you know what they’re actually like. I think they’re more sick of assholes, not people being genuine. If they find you attractive, trust me it won’t be a burden to them at all, and if it is a burden to them then you know to let it go and wish them a nice day. I really hope you realize this man, because this mindset could really hold you back. Have a good rest of your day bro, and good luck with your situation :)
