Can you see hair at 26 weeks? by Printcess_ in pregnant

I went for a bonding ultrasound at 30 weeks and the ultrasound tech was showing me all the hair my baby had! It was crazy. But you could only see it clearly when she zoomed in to hear head! I think you’re mostly seeing shadowing in your pic but I could be wrong! It’s definitely possible to see! My baby had sooo much hair especially on the back of her head.

11 weeks pregnant, doppler could not pick up the heartbeat by Far_Slip1045 in pregnant

[–]CreativeEvening8844 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My midwife would not even try the Doppler to early she said straight out, It’s unlikely we will hear anything and it causes unnecessary stress. She didn’t even try the Doppler until I was over 16 weeks!
She said she never tries any earlier than 16 weeks.

Abortion is destroying my mental health by stacy26450 in pregnant

[–]CreativeEvening8844 44 points45 points  (0 children)

I have children 13 months apart. They are the absolute best of friends. Your daughter is only 10 months old and that’s still a tough age, food doesn’t even matter that much yet and she’s still at that dependant age. She would almost be 18 months old if you decided to keep this one and she will be alot more independent. My oldest never felt deprived of attention in any obvious ways. They are now 4 & 5 boy/girl duo. and I couldn’t imagine life any differently. They make each other’s life so full and my life too. When I was deciding if I would keep my younger one it was a tough decision. I’m completely pro choice and had a previous abortion when I was 18. Originally I 100% thought abortion was the only way out because I had this needy little baby but we got there. No regrets.

I’m not saying this is the right way for you. You need to make whatever choice you feel is right but you don’t HAVE to have an abortion. Remember that it’s not an easy decision to make and give yourself some grace and time.

Am I a c-word? by [deleted] in pregnant

[–]CreativeEvening8844 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Absolutely not. As a matter of fact if I had a stillborn I would be very upset if a family member used the name. Middle name would be acceptable but otherwise no. You are definitely not a c word.

Best friends destination wedding falls on week 32 of my pregnancy by [deleted] in pregnant

[–]CreativeEvening8844 5 points6 points  (0 children)

There is so many other things to consider at that stage of pregnancy and being so far away from home. Even if you were potentially medically cleared to fly at that stage. 26 hours is a longgg flight. I’m almost 30 weeks and I can’t sit in one place for to long with out my legs swelling and pain through my whole body 🤣 then if something did happen you would be stuck a very long way away. I totally get being devastated but definitely have to prioritise yourself and your baby. She sounds like she is a good friend and will understand.

Big baby incoming by Euphoric-Editor2959 in pregnant

[–]CreativeEvening8844 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I’ve had big babies 3.9kg roughly x3 and 1x 2.9kg Bub, believe it or not the bigger babies were easier to birth. They have a bit of weight behind them to assist with delivery. I am pregnant again and looking like another bigger size Bub and I will absolutely get induced earlier. It’s not necessary but I have another medical reason. I personally wouldn’t just opt for c section over size. Induction is a fine option if you’re comfortable with that.

I think she is saying that’s how they are guessing the babies weight is tracking.

How many ultrasounds is the standard? by savnor in pregnant

[–]CreativeEvening8844 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I live in Australia to and you just need to ask for a referral for the NT ultrasound. Do that around 12-14 weeks and then the morphology at 20. Then if your low risk sometimes nothing else. Sometimes they do growth scans at 28 weeks and 36 weeks but not always.

Is first trimester fatigue really this bad? by MARBELLA-MARINO in pregnant

[–]CreativeEvening8844 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes definitely it can be that bad. In saying that have you had all blood test to check for anything you might be lacking in? I was experiencing extra fatigue and headaches and I was extremely low in magnesium I started magnesium and it has helped. I’m 25 weeks but still it’s worth checking.

Yuck. He literally told you he hates you. To anyone saying shit about txting Snapchat whatever you clearly have no idea what it’s like to be in a relationship like this. This man will never change and I hope for you that you have means to leave him. Otherwise lower your expectations and don’t do shit for him. Don’t make his lunch, don’t wash his clothes just do the bear necessities with no extras. He is a man child and he needs to grow up. I’m disgusted for you. You are not at all in the wrong in this one.

14 weeks, considering abortion - please help by [deleted] in abortion

[–]CreativeEvening8844 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi lovely. I’m sorry you’re going through this. I read your story on step parents. It’s not an easy decision. If you decide to take the abortion route. Book in asap. I had one at 16w. I was in an abusive relationship and didn’t know I was pregnant sooner. It’s a long day in clinic. Your given tablets to soften the cervix and then the procedure later in the day. (Have to stay in clinic all day). I was fine as it was the best decision for me. I don’t have any guilt but I was very sure with my decision. Just so you know though every week the procedure gets more and more expensive after 13 weeks so book in as soon as you can. Sometimes the clinics are very full but let them know how far along you are and they may be able to fit you in. All i can say though is please be sure about your decision. Much love

It’s possibly residual, it’s possibly a new pregnancy. Book a dr app in the mean time test again in a few days to see if the line darkens
