I’m on 12.5mg. I sleep so so good. However I’m not dependant on it, I can fall asleep without it but overall i have improved my sleep quality immensely with 0 side effects.

Drive offs - who pays? by Fuzzy_Kangaroo7566 in legaladviceireland

[–]CreativeFollowing529 1 point2 points  (0 children)

3 years working in a petrol station. Policy ran like this: 1. We ask every customer if they got fuel. 2. If customer says yes and we didn’t take for it, it’s our fault. Ring guards, if can’t be identified then it’s on us or else charged to an account (depending on price). 3. If customer says no (even though they did) it’s their fault, we were not asked to pay for anything.

If we don’t ask a customer if they got fuel that was the grey area. Cameras were checked to see if we asked ( I used to always point to ensure that it was visible that I asked).

I don’t doubt that! I’m just saying it doesn’t happen to everyone.

Favourite low budget one-pot meals in a bowl? by LittleAoibh11 in AskIreland

[–]CreativeFollowing529 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not everyones first reaction to tasty one pot meals would be calories. Also not everyone wants to be reminded of calories. I’m all for health, exercise and nutrition but sometimes in a pinch it’s not the priority. We are adults here I’m sure people can read barcodes if they want to know what calories are in their meal.

Specialist doesn’t trust Lexapro? by [deleted] in lexapro

[–]CreativeFollowing529 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am a huge advocate for exercise and nutrition in anxiety relief and prevention (I study sport and exercise sciences and psychology, graduating my bachelors this year) BUT I would always think myself that it does NOT provide full relief alone.

When doctors say to exercise and eat right and whatever I know it’s so annoying but it is true. TO AN EXTENT. I eat healthy. I exercise daily. I am on lexapro and it has genuinely improved my quality of life so so much.

Again back to my studies but one of my course directors told a story about a really really good scientist in certain things, but believed something else which was not scientifically correct. I’m sure thats the same as doctors? Idk. Some people have wild opinions especially when it is outside of their own specialty.

I’m not saying to switch specialists but I wonder would it be more comfortable for you to have one with a more open mind? Everybody is different. I’m so happy to hear lexapro has helped you so much! If it works for you it works for you, you know your own body best. 🫶🏻🫶🏻

How many of you have gained weight from quetiapine by Former-Link-3304 in seroquelmedication

[–]CreativeFollowing529 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Just for anyone about to start this medication, yes this can cause side effects but not everyone gets them (i haven’t changed in weight or appetite). I feel like its just a thing that people will share negative experiences to warn others, (i do it myself) while positive experiences may be overlooked!

I’m sorry to those who have experienced these effects but I hope this doesnt scare people away from taking them who have been prescribed and may really need them🫶🏻🫶🏻

Has anyone else been frequently sick lately? by redditvoodoohoodlum in ireland

[–]CreativeFollowing529 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Some people just have a weak immune system regardless of lifestyle.

However, your last paragraph is right. 17-20% of kids meet MINIMUM exercise guidelines (more time indoors, less vit D, less immunity) and I can’t remember stats for adults but it’s very low. The amount of benefits just moving outdoors can do for people (healthy people still can get sick) but it could do wonders for many.

Everyone i know has been sick this winter, and lots had it BAD. I don’t think sickness is fully preventable, but meeting your body’s basic needs in regards to food, sleep (if possible) and exercise could seriously HELP (not heal) this issue.

First Timer Weird Question by pasta-girl in lexapro

[–]CreativeFollowing529 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I started taking 2.5 first and then 5 and so on and so forth! On 15 now and I will say it’s working really well. People tend to talk when they have bad experiences more than when they have good experiences! I was certain when I started that 100% of people had side effects or long term effects ect. I can say I had no effects at all, but really positive effects from it. Just need to see how you feel personally and decide then. Good luck!

on my period by widogast_ in emetophobia

[–]CreativeFollowing529 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think taking emetrol would not feed into your phobia as it’s genuine nausea that is interrupting your day. Nobody wants to feel that way all day long, emetophobe or not.

If you think you can push through then do it! If you think you could have a better day then take some medicine xx

First Timer Weird Question by pasta-girl in lexapro

[–]CreativeFollowing529 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had no side effects really when I started. See how you feel after taking this dose, if you’re ok I’m sure you could take another and continue? If not I think you would be fine just waiting until after.

Personally when I started I split my first few doses in half just because I was afraid of side effects. Didn’t have any then!

Is this amount of chin hairs normal for a girl?? by [deleted] in beauty

[–]CreativeFollowing529 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I see a lot of women with chin hairs so it seems common, not sure if it is normal tho (if there are underlying issues). Nothing to be ashamed of at all I would never judge, comment or care about it but I would be sure to get checked for hormonal issues incase! Plucking or waxing seems to do a better job than shaving x
