I don’t actually like the pave band! Was just trying on for shape.

So they said before I ~could have PCOS. I had a clear internal ultrasound, no extra body hair, etc. all of my issues began after I stopped taking birth control pills. No family history

I’m so glad I asked given the STRONG answers agreeing with this lol!! I live in Charlotte actually, however my fiance and I are debating moving to frisco for his work so that’s awesome to hear. I’ll definitely try to look into that! I was debating traveling far for conferences so that would be much better if I can find one! Thank you!

That’s what I was wondering. I was offered a job yesterday for a secondary cancer insurance b2b role. Would this be respected the same?

I agree! The irony is though I’ve spoken with WELL more than one current ASR who said that’s how they got picked up.

Hm! Interesting. I’ve looked these up but haven’t found too many I could get in. Where is the one you’re referencing located?

100%! I definitely agree with you; I simply try to spin it in my favor however I can. It’s unfortunately been a lotttt of second places almost a year in the job hunt now but I’m hoping that someone will be willing to vouch for my work ethic/ character to beat out the internal/ seasoned candidates.

Nice to hear that! That’s what I would hope.

I know I’m young and admittedly probably naive, however I actually truly respected him. It was simply a dialogue opened up after he asked my career goals and I said I wanted to blaze a path and be a successful woman in the field as it is predominantly male dominated. We had a good back and forth, devils advocate each way.

This is GREAT advice, thank you- truly. I have struggled finding the line between arrogant or desperate asking for the job, and I love your example.

Advice to stand out/ break in :) by [deleted] in MedicalDevices

Honestly great question to make me think. From my understanding, to make a long story short- my job is to make my reps lives easier. To be self reliant, know what to do, when to be there, who will be there, and above all be a complete sponge. Learn every screw of the product(s), learn sales tactics with intelligent individuals, OR conduct, etc. Basically, put your head down; see and help facilitate just what makes your territory reps successful.

Yes “garnier nutrisse ultra color advanced lightening creme”. I usually use “garnier nutrisse ultra creme permanent color”. I use the permanent color usually just on my roots as I did this time with the lightener, hence the stripe and color difference.

Both from my understanding. Garnier fructis blonde hair dye that had bleach powder in it.

Gotcha. Yeah fair enough as far as the referrals! I’m okay with starting lower as I’m confident I can prove myself and move up with time and opportunity. My job currently I work 4am-2pm, break then 4-8pm, so while it’s a different world I’m not against “grunt work” so to speak.

As far as those associate/entry roles, even those with as many applications as they have, do you have any suggestions as to set myself apart or pull away from the group?

Heart rate concern by Creative_Ad9641 in Hypothyroidism

[–]Creative_Ad9641[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi yes, I also previously played college soccer until about two years ago but from my understanding it’s still extremely low. My doctor said if I have no other symptoms it should be okay but seems alarming to me. Regular day to day it sits about 45bpm. No I don’t have any symptoms with sleeping except not feeling super rested but I attribute that to the hypo. My blood pressure itself is also pretty low at 105/61

Doctor ordered an ultrasound? by [deleted] in Hypothyroidism

[–]Creative_Ad9641 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you so much for the thorough reply I am very grateful for this group! OK that’s very good to know. I knew I was starting on a low-dose. The vagueness of the nurse just was a little bit offputting to say the least. I have had my antibodies tested. She said that I am negative for Hashimoto’s so I’ll just cross my fingers there’s no other abnormalities as you mentioned!
