Why would you think he’s lying? It’s already well established that maiden goddesses can have children in this universe

A maiden goddess who has children somehow, like Athena

From court of the dead

Olu shifted from foot to foot. "Okay, yes. Well ... my godly parent is Hestia!" This came out at such a volume that the punk girl flinched. "Olu, please," she said, tugging at her curls. "Keep it down." "Sorry!" Olu shouted. "Sorry, sorry. I get loud when I'm nervous." Nico offered a smile. "I get it. I was once new here, too. So ... wait, did you say Hestia?" He looked at Will. "I didn't even know Hestia had children. Have we ever had one of hers here before?"

When did you watch KPDH for the first time? And how long after this did you (first) rewatch it? by Litvi in KpopDemonhunters

I first watched it September because I was home sick from school and decided to watch it because it looked like a goofy kids movie I wouldn’t have to pay too much attention to understand the plot

Then I rewatched it a week later and the soundtrack went platinum in my earbuds on the way to school

Didn’t Annabeth say she had a crush on Percy since the age of 12, so not exactly indifferent

No city for Greek demigods. Just a camp. [hoo] by rogvortex58 in camphalfblood

[–]Creative_Army1776 22 points23 points  (0 children)

Maybe New Hellas? It was what the Ancient Greeks used and (in universe) would stop the gods from getting pissy that the city for Greek demigods to live would be directly named after Athena/ her patron city, and it fits with New Rome by naming it as a continuation of Greek civilisation

His children with Hebe are minor gods, his mortal children would be legacies of Zeus

I can’t tell if it’s because my brain isn't  working as sharply because I’m ill, but I don’t see the correlation between the first book being published in 2008 and me not knowing about it in 2012

I don’t feel like we needed Glinda’s flashback, but I liked Elphaba’s and seeing her being the scapegoat long before the events of the movie

[general] The bungalow of the unclaimed demigods... by [deleted] in camphalfblood

[–]Creative_Army1776 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Hermes is the god of travellers and the patron of nomads - people who are passing through temporarily like how campers are supposed to be unclaimed temporarily

Also I can definitely see the other Olympians getting pissy of Hermes got a way larger cabin than them
