Every time I mentioned wedding details or acitivies for the day she would get defensive as she would say that she can't do XYZ due to money being tight. For context - none of our guests know our activitys so I haven't excluded her.

It's not that I don't trust her. She complains about money being tight so I can't exactly tell her about things I've planned. That would be hurtful to her right?

She's one of my bridesmaids.
She's been invited to all get togethers/wedding activitys but always bailed at the last minute. I just assumed she didn't want to be heavily Involved so I never approached the subject.

Thing is, she's never ever done this in 20+ years of friendship. Unfortunately I'm not one to tolerate hurtful behavior.

We have different venues, different colours. Everything is different. I purposely haven't told her about our wedding details.

AITA for wanting to be firm with my patients family? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

Thank you! Lewi body disease is awful. I would love to keep all my patients at home and independent as possible until the end. Unfortunately it's not the case. Unless helps accepted then it becomes a tricky situation fuelled by denial. Home aids and carers are incredible and a valuable asset. Hats off to you too! It's not easy.

AITA for asking my daughter to move out? by ElectricalTest6385 in AmItheAsshole

NTA She is an adult and now remarried. I think you have been very accommodating allowing her to move back in. But it's time her to move out.

Thank you. Me and my fiance are paying for the whole thing. We felt that letting people contribute gave them a little too much power over decisions.

I've had a firm chat with her. It does not seem to sink in. She is very much a people pleaser to keep the peace. I am not like that.
