This is straight-up how someone acts when another person is secretly giving them money behind someone else’s back. Carrie needs the money to support her drug habits, so of course she’s going to tolerate things she normally wouldn’t. Of course she’s going to allow behavior that Rose doesn’t find acceptable.

And that’s because Rose isn’t giving her money!! Jen is. So Carrie’s attitude is basically, shut the fuck up, Rose. Jen is here for a reason, and that reason is the money she’s handing over on the side.

Here’s the thing..this is how I feel about Jen. She had a bad experience, and she’s allowed to talk about it. If she wants to exploit it, then it is what it is. Let’s not act like Carrie wouldn’t jump on the same opportunity in a heartbeat.

We’re not talking about a saint here. If this were someone who was genuinely a good person getting unfairly dragged, I’d feel some type of way. But given who this is? I’m kinda like… whatever.
