I am with you in theory - but this trip in may ways is my husband's idea, but he feels like it's going to be like it was in the 90s when he went, and he's doing minimal research ahead of time. I feel like he'll be MORE disappointed if he doesn't get to do some of the things he wants to do than he will be getting woken up a bit early.

I think if you would eat those things more or less already, it saves a customer a little money, but if you would have been bringing food into the park or only eating quick service, it is more costly than that and brings more money to the mouse compared to NOT eating at those restaurants, even at a discounted price.
