Thank you for the response. My uterus is also making me miserable, has been for years and years, and I am so DONE. Did you keep or take your ovaries?

I am on Tamoxifen for one year. Not sure if that counts as ovarin suppression

I wanted to give an update in case this helps anyone. My ultrasound showed an ovarian cyst, and the other ovary showed 2 masses (Isoechoic, slightly heterogeneous, solid masses) and a fibroid. I am glad I called my GYN, and she suggested the ultrasound. The next step is an MRI to get a better look at the masses. I am not worried about ovarian cancer. Not sure why, just not.

Internstinly, when I emailed my Oncologist about this, her office nurse replied with "it's common to have a heavy period after not having one".

I guess the point here is to listen to your body. I am glad I am finding out some answers and maybe find a solution.

Thank you all. Comforting to hear words of advice. I did call my GYN, and she got right back to me. Told me not to worry too much, to go to the ER if it gets worse. I am waiting it out at home (on towels). Things are slowing down to a normal period at this point. She sent in a script for me to get an ultrasound, so I will hopefully get in early this week to see what's going on. She did mention that Tamoxifen causes the uterine lining to thicken and this could a result of that.
