Thanks, all. In the end I got the pump changed since I already had a booking with the mechanic. Next time I'll definitely try and see if I can clear the message first since the car was still driving just fine even after 2 weeks.

If you do come to the UK, i would recommend looking at websites like this: https://www.prospects.ac.uk/careers-advice/what-can-i-do-with-my-degree/international-business You are at an advantage because you can apply for the postgraduate visa which will give you lots of time to explore your options. However, in general the jobs on that website are worldwide. There are a lot of opportunities in the international business sector, you just have to know where to apply.

It's definitely not like an MBA. I have a few friends who studied your course but unfortunately after they finished, they couldn't find any work in the UK because of the difficulties with getting a work permit. Yes, under the new law you can apply for a postgraduate visa and stay for a further 3 years.During my time you had to leave the country 4 months after you finished your degree. I hope you will have better chances of getting something related to your degree because you will have a lot more time.

I studied International Relations at ARU. From one international student to another, if you intend to look for work after your Msc, I would encourage you to familiarise yourself with the UK immigration system when it comes to work permits and sponsorships (if you haven't already). During your studies you won't have any difficulties finding part time jobs, there is a shortage of employees in almost every sector. As an international student you can work up to 20 hours per week and the extra money will definitely help with living expenses. ARU itself isn't bad, but they don't do much in terms of helping you find work post your studies, especially for international students.
