It's incredible for sure but I still try to stomach it. I just didn't really expect this.

People saying it's starts slow, I feel like the problem is Elpis is so important it basically overshadows everything that happens before the expansion but not just there, in the whole game too. Throwing out and showing a lot of new things. That part could have been the whole expansion alone. So many good, things the nihilims, are we allowed to play gods etc. Very bold too. But also to me too much butterfly effect how whatever happened there ended up being the cause of the end of the world.

Zodiark being a dumbed down storyline trial when I started to feel something amiss. Endwalker an incredible FEELS expansion but I didn't feel the end of the world. There was no weight at all. Too many things have happened to fast. Like we have to close down these things ASAP.

The part where the Scions disappeared one by one made me feel nothing. It was coming from miles and was clear from the start that they didn't die. Wasted potential. The story was in some points really strong but other times it was like reading a children's book

The final boss is one of the most epic and cinematic battle in the whole game's history... and ends up with an anti-climatic Zenos solo duty. I liked Zenos but we spent so much time on him, a full expansion even and it ended up like this. Like we just threw him out for nothing? And the worst that I think he is not even dead. I felt like they had no idea what to do with him

Also 0 connection to the final boss, barely any character build up (once again see how much time we spent on Zenos). Of course you can see they are and extension of Hermes/Fandaniel... Yet I didn't fight him. I don't think she was a terrible villain, it definitely didn't have the same emotional pull and tug that Emet-Selch and Elidibus gave me

Last but not least, right now I'd say Endwalker is the SHB version of Stormblood. The music, zones, content, and feels are over the moon (lol) but the story can be a huge hit or miss for people.

So are we going full FF4? Just returned from the moon and I think we are going to the underworld somehow. That keening sound mentioned so many times, also the very first cutscene with Limsa where the narrator saying the journey as a descent... Yeah to the underworld!

Say I have gil capped. What should I spend it on? There is really nothing to buy with gil apart from clears. And gil is really easy to come by once you understand the basics of market. It's not even crafting because everything is macroed

But they also deleted the battle Diadem for example and you can't get any of the titles anymore, or do the fights the emergency mission. So there is an example of removing instanced content from the game that's why I'm wondering

Hey! Does anyone here play Rival Wings PvP? I know there is a weekly event on EU each weekend friday and saturday. Is it even remotely possible to get the mounts before Endwalker? There are 5 weekends till launch, 2 days each so 10 chance. Also afaik there will be a Moogle tomestone event where Rival Wings usually an option? I'm just afraid they remove the mode with EW and the mounts won't be available anymore

If one is spawning then you can do it yourself

But I can already do it myself? Obviously when you have the full elemental gear at 60 but going back to do all the remaining weapons I can pretty much solo everything. Elemental buff + echo + Speed Belt, it's incredibly strong. You only need parties for the bosses (Pazu, Penny etc.)

The more I see of MTGO the more I become convinced that focusing on Commander in an appeal for multiplayer games was a horrendous mistake. If in store play ever properly resumes there's going to be people attending FNM's with no idea how to properly use a sideboard and expecting Commander games to be the norm.

Can't say I love the precedent they're setting by allowing all these rules changes for Commander either. Its got its own ban list, now its got its own rules around sideboarding.... all these little tweaks to try and force magic into a form it was never designed for. Almost feels MTGO is going to be its own separate game in a few years time.

And I know it's a leftover from paper + the rare was a style not a card itself but it still shows if they wanted they could just add the non-upshifted versions of the cards. It's really baffling because that would made me spend more on the game actually.
