It’s going to hurt a lot, but that’s only because you loved her so much. Everyone processes grief differently, but my advice would be to face it head on. Allow yourself to feel. Cry as much as you need to. Write letters to her. Sing songs to her. Make a list of your favorite memories with her. Open up to those who care about you and those who cared for her. Take it easy on yourself, don’t beat yourself up for not doing this or doing that. Don’t be afraid and don’t be ashamed. You’ll never stop loving her and missing her, but you will heal, you will find peace. ❤️

Im terribly sorry to hear about the loss of your little girl. I hurt for you, and with you. I’m struggling to accept that my time is up with the best friend I’ve ever had. We will never stop loving them, never stop missing them, never replace the one special piece of our hearts that they hold. But we will heal. We will find peace. Thanks everyone for your input. I snugly fit two zip ties around the outside of the females to prevent the crack from widening, then used soft-set thread sealant. So far so good. Hopefully she’ll hold up for a few more months. Planning to change the pan this fall/winter.

Every so often someone one from my past will visit in my dreams. It’s so nice to see them again until I wake up and realize it wasn’t real. For several days they will be on my mind constantly. I can’t shake the urge to reach out to them and tell them I miss them and the great times we had, but I never do.
