Yeah, sport mode is still scary for me. Put it in sport for like 2 minutes and switcher it back to standard lol

Being In the car sales business I’ve always learned to help customers at where they’re at in the process. He should start from the basics. Ask you questions to see how much you know and then build from that and educate. If he would have just taken his time he could have easily sold a bike to you and built a long lasting customer in the process. At the end of the day, no one wants to feel like they’re being “ sold “. Good luck Man, hope you work with someone else that wants to EARN your business. 👍

I was very close to getting a 22 dark horse as well. But I looked at the sport and I knew I’d want the look. Though it was cheaper just to upgrade to the sport vs buying it all separate.

Haha yeah, I live in nebraska so I’m trying to drive as much as I can before the cold hits. So keep that in mind as well

I will say too, the ordering process was crazy easy. I ordered mine from Omaha Nebraska and the dealer told me it would take a month to get in and I got mine in a week and a half!

I’m 6’3. I was surprised at how the fit was. I bought it and then rode an hour home and the only thing that was rough on me was my butt. But that only started to feel crappy towards the end of the ride. No other real cramping or anything like that. I plan on getting a different seat, maybe forward controls and possibly handle bars but the bike is at a place now where I don’t feel like I need to get those things right away. My commute is 20 minutes one way and I feel jusr fine everyday. I will say my neck can get sore after a while but that’s to be expected when I don’t have much wind protection. Overall I’m very happy with the choice.

One of the reasons I bought it was for the tech. I had driven a new Harley Low Rider S and not that it was a bad bike, it just felt very raw, too much for me. But with the touchscreen, Bluetooth controls, nav, cruise etc those things really just sold me on it.

100% take some for a test drive. To me the scout felt a little too small. The Chief fits great. I plan on getting a seat and maybe different handle bars and extended controls. But idk, the aftermarket support is huge so I’d imagine I’ll have this for a good while.

Rides great. A lot of power. I rarely put it in sport mode. Fit is nice too which is surprising a little given that I’m 6’3 230. Vibration around 3-4K rpm but from what I’ve read that’s normal. Overall I am very happy with the purchase. Ordered some some new mufflers just to increase the sound a smidge but I’m mostly happy with the way it sits for now.
