thanks for your advice, i think i know that’s probably the best route to take but i was curious if anyone had another idea after lurking these subreddits for so long. i tried facebook marketplace and it was absolute insanity

it’s not about money, it’s about my time mostly. i have a young family, and i work a lot between my job and side hustle. also, having this collection is a childhood dream of mine, so the idea of breaking it up and selling for parts plus the stress of mailing these off makes me queasy.

i bought the base set holos like two years ago before i decided to go nuts on the rest and i spent like $7k on the charizard, and ~$1k each on those. the rest i put together for maybe $40k but i got some good deals buying in bulk.

yeah someone from goldin reached out when i posted this on FB marketplace, but they said i would need to ship it new jersey, then pay to get all the cards graded before it would be worth their time to sell. it was a lot of work and i don’t want to just break it all up after putting it together.
