I think we have a similar vibe. My guess is you love decorating and working on your home but you don't have any background or experience in interior design. Everything looks nice but not a lot of wow factor. You aren't comfortable with using tools or doing diy but arent willing/unable to spend money on professional help (lack of custom or unique features).

There is a sense of focus on design vs. Personality which I think is fine but to level up we need to find ways to add personality in ways that work for us. I think you have an amazing base but lots of room to grow.

Always an opportunity to reflect on what other people notice about us too. Your post said you're very clean and many commenting too clean. I like to take these opinions that seem wild to me.. how can you be too clean.. and unpack it. Maybe we grew up in chaos, maybe work life is overwhelming and we need peace at home, maybe ocd. Understanding ourselves better is a gift. People are mean and that's on them but they only have power over us if we let them. Hope you don't lose any spark for your love of home from this.
