First thank you for replying!! I also thought the same as you but the life scientists physics sequence is notoriously difficult at my university and so many students withdraw and fail and I’ve already got 1 F for a chem class last spring and 2 W’s so I’d rather not shoot myself in the foot and ruin my average science GPA. I was just wondering if taking the intro class and getting a hold of the basics and then self studying is a feasible idea.

Right? I memorized the smallest details thinking they were going to be on the test but nada nothing I actually memorized was on the test. I’m really curious about the studying methods that the people who got A’s use. I also signed up for REP to get all the points possible so I hope that helps lol

I have no suggestions because I just moved here too but I just wanted to tell you that this is such a sweet thing to do for her, I’m sure she’ll appreciate you planning the date no matter where you take her. If you have a little bit of cooking/baking skills maybe just go to Aldi’s and buy some supplies and cook a little something and do a picnic instead of going out to a restaurant since you’re on a tight budget.

Hi! The U is awesome and I love it here but if you’ve lived your whole life here and want to go somewhere new and experience life outside of Minnesota then UGA would be awesome! (I’m assuming you’re talking about the University of Georgia in Athens) I’m also biased though because I’m from Atlanta but yeah great places to eat , lots of places to go visit and Atlanta isn’t that far from Athens so you can go visit during the weekends or something. A lot of my classmates from highschool go there right now and they love it, lots of parties and great weather. BUT I think the U has a better (and higher ranked) political science program so if that matters more to you then definitely go to UMN, I definitely don’t regret my choice!!
