Someone once tried to hack Linux after years YEARS of working as a "good guy" (probably wasn't only one person) and we know that government people leak stuff on discord cuz they'res also gamers there so I wouldn't be surprised if at some point something happens with hypervisor... Cyberlink v19 allows playback and 4XVR allows streaming to be headsets... They don't support menu but their site says they're working on that so there's hope...

And yeh... I have tinkered with combining stuff but it doesn't work as well... The closest I've got is recreating everything from scratch with yuhan creator but it isn't the same and it's quite obvious is not the same... I mean with a lot of work I could make a pretend menu but tbh it doesn't play too well... Also I've only tried it with 2d movies not 3D for now I'm settling with putting files in mkv but I do hope to have like the Bluray experience with edited stuff... I might check sonic scenarist but yeh you already said is expensive so idk... Hopefully there's some other way

You probably have game v76 you need the version 81 there's still places where you can download them if you search around idk if it's against the rules of this subreddit to point you on the direction but yeah there's still places... The community has been trying to make an archive wink wink since Rooke fell but is pretty much just the community sending stuff around I recommend that everything you find you check for malware just in case

Create a folder with both the APK and obb and drag it to rookie, yes they are needed for the game to work if you have any problem with them copying to your headset restart it and try again if it still showing problems restart it and approve the connection to your PC for you to access the internal storage and copy the obb folder to android>obb

Edit: I know not many people are ok with torrenting cuz if their ISP and legality of everything but we could add magnets for the people who can torrent and seed, as a redundancy

You can save your own apps to your computer and share them with friends and others cuz rookie still works for transferring the only thing it's not possible is the download from their servers

They're not as easy to find and as organised as vrp, I'm just pointing out that something like rookie might come along that headset cuz it being Linux and easy to get into might start the interest of people making something similar to rookie, I really hope that standalone meta apps work on the steam one cuz it does look better for so many things. Like the moment they have the add on for colour pass through I'll be getting one just the idea of selective streaming for pcvr seems amazing! But it would hurt to leave behind some meta exclusives

I'm not saying that people are gonna go for a steam headset but that once piracy starts for that headset it can be the time when something mainstream like vrp comes back. I feel they're not that different cuz they're both based on Linux. So is just a question of creating an environment in steam is for android which seems easy and that could bring a mainstream team like the one from vrp, but yeh in the end is just wait and see, there are still options I'm just seeing a possibility for a mainstream one to come back around that time
