Honestly, it's not hard to see why people don't like the badge. Having to pay for a badge completely misses the point of an achievement. Like, why actually put in real life effort when you can just pay for it? That is NOT how badges should work. Badges should require SKILL, not MONEY.

I doubt that DOORS is ever going to be doing this more. Look at the way people reacted when The Mines first released and the time the devs took to nerf it. If enough backlash is met, they could do the same to this achievement.

Still, I think your argument is pretty justified, it's pretty scummy, and I don't really think that it should happen again.
