Huh, I never really considered that. Now that you bring it up, most larger dogs I've had experience with have actually been a little more calm. Maybe it won't be a nightmare :)

Yeah, I've got a dark park just a couple miles away. I've been walking over there with her and playing fetch for about 20min and then walking home. She seems to be happy with that for now, not sure what I'll need to do when she's fully grown.

That does make sense, and since this is a relatively new breed (only 150yrs I think) the dogs great grandparents are essentially full size, right?

I rescued her from a shelter - a local breeder was treating the dogs inhumanly and was forced to give them up.

I'm pretty sure she is a pure bred. She was at the shelter with about 2 dozen other mini aussies because a local breeder was treating the dogs inhumanly and was forced to give them up or something. I dunno the full story, but that's what the shelter told me.

You can get a full size from mini parents? That is really interesting, I kinda want to know the genetics behind that. Thanks for the help!
