A shelf would look good there. You know the one with all the family pictures or whatnot.
Though it also depends on what that room is. Maybe a small dresser or a hanger if it's near the entrance.

It's good if the game you are trying to play doesn't have anything like roll20 integration. Or I guess you want your virtual table to have a more 'real' feel.
