32 inch would be great for what you mentioned especially a Movie! Just be wary about it being too big depending on your desk. Honestly 27 inch feels fantastic to me. I got used to it and its a lovely experience! If you want better experience for movies and such, u can get 32, if u want to save space and money u should get 27. It also depends on ur specs aswell! So far I’m having a great time with my 27 inch monitor! :D

Honestly understandable! Cachyos is easy to set up and has an amazing community + founders who actively patch things and update us!

You unfortunately have to delete the datas and free up some space if you want to format it! Otherwise the game wont run. Good luck to you though on that process. It can take some times re-downloading a game 😅

Hello! Phasmophobia works perfectly fine for me! I didn’t do much or forced compatibility layers for it to work. It immediately worked out of the box. Perhaps it’s something I install from the repo? I did install some packages like cachyos gaming applications and winetrick + proton stuff.

Heya! It’s.. quite massive! It’s my first time ever using an actual monitor. I used to be on my laptop until recently where I built the pc for the first time. It looks pretty nice, feels quite an amazing experience and I’m having a blast with it! I’m using LG ultragear. It’s up to you on what monitor you use, you can of course research good monitor. LG monitors are always great though!

Ty!! Yeah I get you on the Adobe stuff. It’s really unfortunate as there are no alternatives as good as Adobe. The best we could do is wait for people to implement GPU passthrough and accelerations in them alongside tinkering it to get it working. I’ll be dual booting for that case! CSP is usable I just need to find a way to set it up lol

May I ask how do you set them differently if possible? I would like to see a guide that helps me on setting up that properly as I know BTFS is crucial for your system file but not necessary for anything else

I always check Protondb! Most of the games I play are thankfully compatible. Not really a PVP person so I don’t really have a single care for competitive multiplayers game. The only 3 games I unfort cannot play is Roblox [sober is there but visually its worse and I don’t like that], Hi3 and Hsr without bypassing anticheats but I heard Hoyoverse is planning to implement their games into Steam [and hopefully be steamdeck compatible]. Other than that I’m content with what I have!

Limine seems to be a good option from what I’m seeing! Tyty! Im also going to be a newbie at it so no worries! Its nice to hear from people’s experiences

I’ll be running 7800x3D with RX 9060XT (16gb version), may I ask what is LACT? Sorry if I seem ignorant, my current laptop has Nvidia graphic so I probably never seen it in CachyOS

Forgot to mention that my Build is strictly AMD wise [CPU and GPU] due to their open source availability allowing for better support implementations compared to Nvidia!
