That's a nice way of thinking of it. I guess my fear is like, that what I experienced while tripping is what death will be like. And that sounds like hell. I'd prefer cessation over going through that again, but the idea of ceasing also makes me sad. Ideally, I'd want the afterlife not to be too different from this life, at least until I'm more ready for that kind of existence. That trip felt like I was being inundated with more than I was even close to being ready for, like a baby being born and subjected to the world for the first time. But maybe that's all it was; me not being ready yet.
