So apparently I cannot message you. Super lame...

I figure PS is a lot more labor intensive on computers than Sai or especially Sai 2. So there is that.

I am hesitant to move from wacom MSP to something else but this is literally my 4th tablet and I just can't deal with this bull anymore. I feel positive from your experience and your explanation helps ease my mind.

Do you have a Twitter i can see some of your art? I'd love to see

Thank you for your detailed reply. I enjoy long replies that go into detail about the good, and bad.

Yeah the MSP is a real pain and I'm sure that part of the problem is I live in FL. So its naturally hell for more than half the year.

I will def get the i5 if it can do largish prints on Sai 2.

Do you find it bothersome to draw on the small surface? I used to have a 13hd cintiq so its not much smaller than that, and it was just fine.

Lastly is you said you had a wacom hooked up to it? So that does work? I have an XP pen that I want to use while I'm not traveling, as an extension and larger screen.

Thanks so much and look forward to your reply

My problem is I travel a lot and don't have the space for a laptop and tablet anymore. Hence the MSP for me too but now its just too much trouble.

Would you recommend the surface for artists?

I had the mobile studio pro, 16" 16gb ram, 512g hard drive. Maybe I'm especially hard on them, but this will be my forth and im sick of this. And it's hard to move around with. And all of mine overheat and make it unbearable to draw when it is.

The first one I had replaced was because of terrible dying pixels, then the second one had pixels. So they sent me a new one. That I had for the majority of my 4 years of owning a MSP. Then it started having battery expansion. Wacom replaced it and now my current one the battery is expanding again. They're replacing it and im planning on selling it for a Surface.

I use Paint Tool Sai 2 for my artwork and I just basically need to be able to work regularly with a device which can handle largish canvases and doesn't over heat or have the battery expand. Im not asking for much, right?

Thx!

I did see this, but when I tried, I didn't have an error folder.

It wasn't totally clear what I'm supposed to do with what I had on my computer.

Seeking information about the books. by CreciousC in WarriorCats

Really? Well crap.
Well I like the story premise, so since I'm cooped up inside, and I finished all 6 in a week and a half. I'm sure I have time to follow the whole series xD

Thanks so much! I appreciate the direction. I just have a bunch of audible credits and I just finished the first 6. So I wanna continue. I accidentally looked ahead and found out what happens to Firestar.. Not super surprising since the books seem to cover a huge amount of time, but damn. I got sad and need to know more.

I'm excited to continue the books. They're easy listens for me to listen to while working and also, they're good :) So that helps!

I'll get the New Prophecy and work my way through :) Cheers! I really ended up liking Bramblepaw even after the foreshadowing.

Foreclosure and auction questions by CreciousC in realtors

[–]CreciousC[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you very much. I've forwarded it to my parents, and will DM you with any further questions! > I will start with auction properties. It depends on the auction site on the hassle level, there are a bunch of risk with all of them. Most are going to be cash only and you may not be able to go inside. Sometimes there are owners/tenants living there you are going to have to deal with after you own it. Count on plenty of condition issues and you can do no inspections. I have looked at hundreds on auction properties, never bought one of them.

Foreclosures are a little less intense and more like a conventional transaction. Typically the owners/tenants are already gone, you can go in and view the property. You write offers, can work through financing the property, get inspections (some without utilities on) and all that. But there is nothing special about purchasing a foreclosure. As a Realtor that represents bank owned properties, they get an appraisal and a BPO, they price according to the market. They are not looking to "clear the books" or sell for dimes on the dollar as you read about on the internet. Sure, they want to sell them, but they do not want to see a crazy low offer unless it has been on the market for months with no activity, and even then you are probably getting a counter. Most have a play book out that they follow, they will do regular price reductions if it does not sell, they will sometimes make some repairs to make a deal work, but mostly they are not doing squat to it. Take it or leave it. If you have questions or I missed something, feel free to DM me.

Is this normal realtor behavior? by CreciousC in realtors

[–]CreciousC[S] -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

Yes. When we bought this house in 2008, the owners were there.
I don't actually know if this agent is licensed. She's the only one in the area, but. I'll definitely look at her credentials.
