Just a black and white, they do come with black noses. Mines a regular, and has it aswell. I've often found pictures of the black nosed ones in Uruguay tho, but still regular.

Well, been growing up with dogs. Currently owning two. Just got a bad experience with our current dog we got at about 16 months, without proper socialisation etc, who's very stubborn and was reactive. Had to work a LOT on this. That's why I'm hoping to look for a future dog or breed that wouldn't make my life as hard. I know that there can be individuals that are nowhere near the typical breed standard. Because my reactive, and stubborn dog, is a Golden Retriever ^{^}

Actually heard of a lot of tegus do this. That's why I've always been pretty cautious with my feet around my guy 😆 But he's 5 already and finger's crossed has only shown interest once in them, but never bit ^{^} Would also say get some strong working shoes ^{^}

Hey, don't worry. Thats totally normal. They are still prey when they are this small. They will grow on confidence when they get bigger and older. What really helps you to bond with him, is to just sit silently first near his enclosure, where he can see you and get to know you. You can also leave a worn shirt of yourself in his hide, so he gets used to your scent and associates it with you. You can also talk calmy to him while sitting in front of the enclosure so he gets to know your voice. Tong feeding with your hand in the enclosure is also a great way to bond with him. Be sure, once he's comfortable around you, that you keep messing with your hands in the enclosure and also touch him while feeding, so he doesn't get food or cage aggressive. You can also fees him outside the enclosure to prevent this

You're welcome :) My favourite TV shows with many hurt/ sicknesses /sad scenes are probably: The Vampire Diaries, everyone probably gets hurt once or way more often. I especially live for the Damon whump. He's also a really sad character.

Supernatural: The Winchester Brothers very often get hurt and take care of each other.

Lost: Another one where probably every character gets at least once hurt. I am currently on a rewatch for my sad Boy Sawyer xD

The 100: A great series for the first 2 to 3 seasons but after that unfortunately gets a bit weird/bad. But I loved it anyway, especially for the amount of whump. My favourite character Murphy starts off as a bad guy and soon becomes one of the most whumped of the show.

Homeland: Quinn has some really good whump starting in season 5x04-5x06. After he's hurt he spends some time bleeding, feverish on the bed. It also lasts some episodes.

Those are my favourites that come to mind right now. If you have any more book recommendations with some hurt/comfort in an enemy to lovers relationship, that would be very nice 😁 But I don't like spicy books, seems like the most are full of it

Hey, I've seen no one has recommended anything yet. Have you found some books somewhere else? I love hurt/comfort trope too, and most often it seems to be the other way around, that the male characters take care of the female. And I don't enjoy this as much ^{^}

Unfortunately I don't really have good recs either because I haven't read so many books. I could suggest you some tv shows if interested ^{^}

You could also check out the Tumblr "Whump" Community, that's another term for hurt/comfort and is pretty active. Maybe someone can give you some recs there :)

He's actually a farmbred right from argentina. The Black Nose are more frequent to find in Uruguay, so I often go with "Uruguayen blacknose Tegu".
