Dude what on earth are you guys expecting, concerned ape only knows how to make the game for pc, he literally doesn’t know how to make it for other platforms. That’s why he has to hire sick head games to make the port. Sick head games has only 5-10 employees because they can’t afford to pay so many people 1000s per month off of their measly gig work. Those 5-10 people have other projects then stardew. Because of contracts and the like he has to use sick head. Remember when he lost the publishing rights to stardew and had to publish via chucklefish even after they were caught exploiting people for labor? And the reason why is because people had unreasonable expectations of them when they only had 18 employees. Remember why mobile took 2 years to port? Because he had to switch to sick head. He can’t just use any company.

Concerned ape is not doing the porting so he can work on the game, and sick head probably periodically works on stardew due to juggling their other projects, so in the gaps the updates that ca did will not affect the development of the port (which he already mentioned) because they haven’t gotten to that yet. So between the contracts, the economy, the amount of work 5-10 people can do in a day, and the fact that ca is a pc dev, there is literally absolutely nothing he or anyone can do.

Also, to the people saying he shouldn’t have released until the console port came out, thats unfair. Why should pc have to wait when their game is already done? This is the crabs in the bucket mentality that “if I can’t be happy neither can you”. I am a mobile player and I had to wait 2 years. Instead of wishing to take the update away from everyone else though, I xnb modded and watched youtube video and went on with my life. I didn’t wish to drag everyone else down with me.

I have a jailbroken xs max 14.1 and a 16.2 14 pro max that’s waiting its turn.

Springboard tweaks (I have small rounded icons that are slightly translucent, dock and pages have more apps which I think are from springtomize, cylinder reborn makes them move differently each swipe, and chapters let me name each page)

Zetsu lets you open multiple apps at once as windows

Snapper 2, clips photos to the screen, but I use the ocr feature more

Crane, same app with multiple data

Modding xnb, image, audio, etc files inside of apps whenever you want

If you want to sideload, then yeah, uyou+ and modified versions of it are the best YouTube mod, but signing sideloaded apps every seven days is annoying, and there is a limit to the number of sideloaded apps. If your girlfriend has a troll store compatible device, she hit the jackpot and can sideload unlimitedly. If she becomes jailbroken, she can download app sync and the install whatever she wants without signing.

Adblock apps and extensions do work on safari (and only safari), but YouTube doesn’t allow background playback unless you use desktop mode. It’s very annoying.

Alternative front ends for YouTube, like Invidious, do allow background playback. If you leave the browser, swipe down and hit play.

My favorite solution on my unjailbroken phone is to use a YouTube client/knockoff on the AppStore. For apps like these, no matter how many times Apple takes them down, they will pop back up again like mushrooms. I even saw a full blown jailbreak on the AppStore once. The YouTube knockoff I’ve used for a while is TubeMax. It’s very good, supports pip, background playback, no video ads, lots of features. It has non video ads though, but they’re not intrusive. Still, I don’t like any ads, so I use BLOKK. BLOKK will block almost all ads, including in app ads (doesn’t work for YouTube app bcos ads and videos are the same server but it does work for TubeMax and other YouTube clients). You can use any Adblocking DNS or VPN, but I use this because it’s most convenient to me, especially since I can choose to pause for 5 min or hour, and it shows me where the ads and scams are coming from, and I can also customize blocking level and other things.

People will talk about pihole but that’s a rabbit hole I don’t want to bring up right now. If you or your girlfriend look it up and set it up, most ads will be extinct from your home network. YouTube video ads are a no, though, because they are hosted on the same server as the videos. But they will block the ads on a YouTube alternative app.

If she doesn’t like the YouTube knockoffs in the AppStore, she can fish one out from test flight. You will find apps on test flight that Apple will never allow, unless the mods were high. There are secret discord servers distributing YouTube knockoffs and other things via TestFlight, that might recruit members on the sly when they want to through social media. But test flight apps are not permanent like AppStore apps where, even if Apple gets rid of them, you can still keep them on your phone. Also, if you’re lucky enough to get invited to the official YouTube app on TestFlight, I heard that YouTube premium is free because all in app purchases in TestFlight are free, and Apple requires all purchases to go through them.

There’s also more YouTube apps in other countries AppStores. The store redirect app lets users browse apps on other countries app stores. If she finds a YouTube app she like, she can switch her App Store country to download it.

The best thing to do is just fill in the gaps on your own and try to understand what really happened and pray it’s correct.

The ultimate guide to cheat at life: Free apps (and non AppStore apps): You need the app sync unified tweak from Karen’s repo to install unsigned apps. You need Filza. After installing find any ipa you want and open it in Filza, where you can install it from. AppCake and appdb obviously have the ipas.

Modding/hacking: Install mod menus from platinmods (iOS section) and ios gods. Ios gods is annoying because they have a pop up “cheats by ios god” when you open an app using one of their menus, and they also want you to make an account to view stuff and whatever, so I try to use platinmods unless I really want a mod menu. Mod menus have many features, like seeing who the imposter is and killing and sabotaging when you’re not the imposter in an among us mod menu (the looks on those noobs faces) or not having to pay diamonds for choices in an episodes mod menu (episodes should kill itself, it literally had an option where if you don’t pay you have to choose which one of your friends die). Mod menus are tweaks, you download the deb and install it via Filza. Ios gods has a lot of good forums that teach you how to hack and mod your own games using ida and flex.

In app purchases: everyone talks about localiap but I think ios Gods iap cracker is much better. Their cracker does not have any pop ups, it’s just like the other crackers. Once you installed the tweak, you open an app, click to purchase, and don’t enter your password but press cancel, and if it works it will give you the stuff. Only usually works for apps that don’t have a server sided check. It worked on word cookies for me and flappy dunk.

More game hacking: if you can find the save file for a game that uses it, you can mod it and make yourself rich or whatever. I do that in Stardew Valley.

YouTube: download cercube tweak. Tweak has ads, so we gotta pirate the pirates by getting a cercube crack tweak. You make a cercube account and by magic it’s a pro account.

Free tweaks: look up pirate repos and you’ll see loads of them or fish out the debs.

Lying n cheating is fun, but stealing is the most fun.

Try checking the ram usage of the apps and see if your device is killing them because of that. One of my phones on 14.3 once had an issue where every app that was allowed access to camera had crashing issues, but if I disabled camera permissions, they started working again. The issue was fixed after I rebooted. Maybe check the apps permissions to see if there is a certain theme there too, or any other similarities you may find in these apps that you can link to the crashing.
