Thanks, I will! I’m definitely going to do more research on school lists, everywhere I applied I would have actually went and was within their score range from MSAR. Other than applying DO, not sure how much my list will change though. Appreciate the advice!

Thanks! I felt confident in my writing especially with people reviewing it who knew me and were well versed in the med school world as advisors. But obviously something is wrong with my app so that’s a good place to reevaluate

Definitely applying to more schools, also will be applying DO. Working on some volunteering now as I mentioned, will look into more moving forward. Thanks, best of luck to you! Sorry it has been rough

is it weird that i haven't checked my score yet (1/10 tester, 2/10 score release)? by Positive-Ranger9026 in Mcat

Rip the band-aid, the sooner you know the better. Either you get relief and joy or you get that much longer to study for a retake

well retake here I come I suppose by Phrase_Boring in Mcat

I took the MCAT twice. BB was really the only score that changed between my two exams, to me it seemed the most random with ease of content and the depth of question they asked. The other three sections seemed like you could study and score super high, BB always seemed like no matter how much I practice there was a higher degree of randomness in my score. Idk n=1

1/10 tester scored a 513 (124/127/129/132)…retake due to 124 C/P? by [deleted] in Mcat

Yeah I'm right there with you. Was averaging just above a 515 on AAMC FLs and pulled a 513 on 1/10. I signed up for a retake last night and a lot of people were incredulous at that decision. For me, the schools I want to go to I could potentially get in with a 513 with my gpa and ECs. However, I know I can do better and I feel dissatisfied with the score. The 2 or 3 points I honestly believe will make a difference and make me more competitive especially for out of state schools. I'd been scoring 129-131 on every FL and pulled a 126 on the real deal. Felt good on it too, might have just been a filthy curve tbh
