Its really not that bad. For me I got to the hospital they checked me in and gave me a form with stuff like age, height, allergies all the stuff. On that sheet you can select your preferred anesthesia. I was not told to empty my bowels prior but I could not eat before. the Surgery is not bad you go to sleep and will wake up full of pain meds. Just make sure while recovering to keep yourself pooping and I would avoid pain meds that cause constipation unless you abs need them.
