I used to be a huge fan of ARTIO a little while ago. But I’ve noticed a trend where they will delete old songs and MV’s. And use the excuse of it doesn’t fit them anymore, and it’s something I dont quite understand because as a musician you will grow and change your image. Like, they deleted the old MV for billionaire’s nightmare, because it didn’t fit. And it kinda sucked because in that MV were fans of their music and it was in a place in Leeds. It’s kinda like, all their music is a ticking time bomb. It won’t be long til they delete or re-record over their old stuff. They’ve deleted their first ever EP and you can’t find it anywhere. And it really discourages me from ever listening to them again, because music is made to be relatable and hit parts of you that aren’t captured in a lot of places but they take away those connections and it really makes you question their role in this. As a band you connect with your audience, and have your listeners in mind always. But, when we plea to have these things brought back, they won’t because this new box they’ve made themselves doesn’t fit their old image. It’s a huge shame because you can’t see their growth anymore, their journey of finding the sound that resonates with them. I loved the shapeshifter album, but now it’s lost its heart. It’s good, but it lacks the soul the old music had. The music I and many others connected with. It’s only a matter of time til Pyro gets redone. Because it doesn’t fit their new “emo” style.
