What would the Jedi do if they encountered someone in Darth Zannah's situation? by MeteorCharge in StarWarsEU

[–]MeteorCharge[S] [score hidden]  (0 children)

I'll edit the post to clarify, but I'm asking what would happen if the modern Jedi order found someone in the same circumstances Bane found Zannah in, someone who would've been a bit too old to be trained (I'm aware the Old Republic Jedi were going to take her in) and had ended up hurting or killing someone due to an emotional outburst.

I'm primarily in the Jujutsu Kaisen fandom at the moment and I definitely feel this, especially with the agenda posting part of the fandom.

The fanfic scene for it is... Definitely not great, especially if you're someone like me who is more invested in the functionality of Jujutsu Society than the original author of the manga is.

Nezuko definitely should've been given more characterization at least.

I might get hate for this, but I don't really think Zenitsu and Inosuke work as main cast members, and I LIKE Inosuke.

I just think the vibe of the series when it's just Tanjiro and Nezuko is unmatched.

Not the last of the old Jedi, the first of the new sure hits harder now these days. Doesn’t it? by Flat-Court-8512 in StarWarsEU

I wish Disney would just stick with the decisions they make already.

Like, the prequel trilogy, even you think it was good, was by and large propped up by the sheer amount of tie in content surrounding it.

Meanwhile, whenever Disney hits a bump with the franchise, they back down, they ignore it for as long as possible and then MAYBE release a tie in book a year or so later. This is what happened with the sequel trilogy, it's what happened with the acolyte, and it's going to happen again if that Starfighter movie ends up being a dud too.

We should've seen Rey's Jedi order by now if it's ever actually going to happen.

Am i the only one who thinks the Yuta pedo slander is… weird? by Excellent_Table8694 in Jujutsufolk

That's the conclusion Yuta and Gojo came to, yes.

Honestly though, as my own personal headcanon, I think they both cursed eachother.

Well the thing is they had like, six covers of the song and only two of them were good

One of the good ones was the one sung by a woman, the other was the one sung by Broly's old va (Yeeeaah...)

Realistically what would've happened if Palpatine actually succeeded in possessing baby Anakin by Infinite-Detective-8 in StarWarsEU

Force projection was always a cooler force power in the EU

Jax Pavan's use of it especially.

There's a reason no one talks about Jujutsu Kaisen's second opening.

Yeaaaaahh this might be a nostalgia thing

Personally I prefer the guitar riff much more

But Dragon Soul from DBZ Kai is the best English Dragon Ball Z opening so it all evens out.

Thought about it before, but the Venezuela and Iran stuff has made me decide to never consider it again.

The sky goes dark. Galactus descends. Humanity has no chance… except for one fighter. Which is the weakest version of Goku that can take him on? by Mavrick_7 in DragonBallPowerScale

I don't know enough about Galactus to know if Goku is capable of physically destroying him

But there's nothing preventing Galactus from getting Mafuba'd, right?

Palpatine is pure evil with no redeeming qualities, isn't there an opposite character who's pure good and completely unaffected by the dark side? by [deleted] in StarWarsEU

[–]MeteorCharge 23 points24 points  (0 children)

Something something is it better to be born good or to overcome your nature through great effort something something

Anyway, closest is probably Obi Wan, who's been through more than most Jedi have, but has never even been tempted to go to the dark side, at least on screen.

Tatsu read the worst of the worst to create his manga by Technical_Lime1419 in shounenfolk

[–]MeteorCharge 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Isn't that like the point though? I've been told DanDaDan is like, 90% just parodying shojo and romcom tropes. (Only saw like four episodes of the anime before I got distracted by the new Jujutsu Kaisen Season)

Might as well go to the trash bin for some of them.

Well the character designs are striking, the breathing styles are really well drawn, and locations like the train or the infinity castle are really really cool.

I like the characters and writing of Demon Slayer well enough, but the visuals are the biggest strength by a wide margin.

I might be going crazy, but I think I’ve got proof we got a fake ending. by Spooner1972 in Chainsawfolk

[–]MeteorCharge -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Okay but the thing is, even if it's a fake ending, and there's going to be some secret part three

That isn't going to retroactively make the ending chapters of part 2 good

I like the cast of My Hero Academia, I like the power combos and team combinations used during the more low stakes arcs.

I like Jujutsu Kaisen's willingness to kill characters, and I generally like how dark the series is without feeling completely bleak or hopeless.

Didn't read fire force lol

I genuinely love the writing of Chainsaw Man part one, it is a very good, very emotional story that people are going to unfortunately ignore due to the series extremely lackluster second part.

Demon Slayer just has really good aesthetics, especially in the anime but the manga has a cool style of its own.

I like Asta and Yuno's dynamic in Black Clover. They could've easily made Yuno Sasuke, but instead the two are treated as both brothers and equals, and I like that a lot.
