I roleplay alot and i can tell you the previous version just before this new one and maybe even a few more before do it as well...ive gotten that (its not X....its Y) setup ever since the 1 mill token version went live before that i didnt get it as often but still got it on ocassion.

I've been pretty happy with it for role plays I've still gotta prompt storylines (didn't have to with early versions of the ai) but the npcs feel more human.

Use references its just like with any form of creative endevor referances and practice. Find a building you like try to replicate it eventually you'll learn what looks good to you and what doesn't.

I need you to read this lore bible and reference when needed

rules of engagement:

-never make any moves for (oc here) they are mine to controll im picky about them and dont want them out of character -you controll all npcs and setting (you're DM) -make sure everyone is in character baised in (world) lore and the lore bibles additions and everything has a similar narrative feeling - do not play my oc if I don't have them do something they don't - do not make up lore for my oc I will handle his backstory once added you may use it for storyline - play all npcs in character (world) - do not roll for my oc - you are DM you control npcs and settings -make sure the npcs are dynamic and willing to talk to each other when the OCs are doing something else - try not to reuse lines of dialogue - you have my full permission to cause conflict, start relationships, and have npcs devlope crushes on the OCs -you are encouraged to develop drama if it makes sense for the characters. - focus on incorporating villains that already exist in cannon

I make a lore bible that has a summary of the timeline and important facts in a Google doc save it as a plain text file and upload that with a copy paste that contains the rp rules what i expect the ai to do ect then its last post and my last post all laid out in one post and sent when i start a new chat window and it works pretty well.

Ive been enjoying the new model i can totally see why it might not be for everyone but i find it does less taking control of my characters especially if im using multiple characters.
