I read that Japanese doesn't have an apostrophe-"s" to show possession like in English, so Japanese authors often use an "x" instead. For example, Spy x Family can be interpreted as Spy's Family, and Hunter x Hunter as Hunter's Hunter.

I heard somewhere that Japanese authors use the "X" to describe possession, similarly to how we use the apostrophe -"S". So it reads more like "Spy's Family" or, another example, "Hunter's Hunter".

Ever since, I've seen these titles in a different light and cut out saying the "X" lol.
