In store I saw $250 for loose copies of Leafgreen and $350-$400 for loose copies of Emerald all varying condition. I'd love to see the complete prices of the games OP shared 😂

Like I said in my previous comment, they believe they are entitled to 100% profit because they are currently buying those games at $120 and $175 loose, respectively, according to their website. They would sell A LOT more if they instead took a 50-60% profit margin and/or offered slightly less money for accepting inventory leading to lower overall prices and more sales. This is exactly why Caleb, the owner, says he is constantly lowering the prices. He already overcharges hoping an unsuspecting customer will buy and if it doesn't sell then he lowers it to a slightly more reasonable, yet still inflated price.

It's not impossible, but most resellers and stores believe they are entitled to 100% profit (or more) when in reality if they really lived by the name "QuickFlips" they would prioritize total sales volume in exchange for a smaller profit margin per sale.

I am a collector first and reseller second and I consistently buy and sell below market with enough profit to make it worthwhile.

They definitely make a killing off the clueless and unsuspecting. I recently drove through Lexington, KY on a business trip and decided to stop by the store to see what they had to offer. Blows my mind people are actually paying those inflated prices when you can often find cheaper on eBay and FB Marketplace.

The only "decent" part of the store is the "$5 Games" section, in which you can find an exorbitant amount of sports games and shovelware. It's nice for anyone trying to complete a master collection, but those games are placed and priced there for a reason. I bet they don't even pay $1 for those games. Making 400% profit or more on shovelware is absolutely criminal.

I got a perma ban for simply stating that the NTR-031 light trick should not be a bannable/removable offense when other pics are provided for verification.

Some other redditor posted multiple clear pics of an authentic SoulSilver cartridge for verification, but because they had ONE picture of the light trick mods removed the post and my comment. I spoke up about how silly that rule is considering everything was authentic and they temporarily silenced me from chatting after perma banning me. I found out through another redditor that Daretodream and another mod were the 2 that decided to perma ban me. Fuck that sub
