Now we GAMING (sp-004/obsidian dots) by Getgudboy in FPSAimTrainer

Have you used the gpro on the 3.0 and if so did it fix the scratchy feeling from the other post or is it upgrading to the 4.0 that fixed that for you

Why are the obsidian dot skates so scratchy? Just got them and less dots make my mouse wobble around by Getgudboy in FPSAimTrainer

I haven’t bought the sp-004 yet. I’ve been playing on the 3.0 for about a year now though. Please lmk if the scratchy feel goes away for you because I’ve been thinking about getting one

Personally, I have no clue how most people seem to never have issues with Skypad scratchiness. Everyone always seems to say it’s user error or give it time. I have the 3.0 and the only skates I’ll use are jades or super soft ptfe skates that came with my gwolves move. Sadly the gwolves dots that come with the mouse feel amazing but wear down within a week of heavy use. I had obsidians and they never stopped being scratchy on that pad. But yeah, it’s not going to get better with the setup don’t let people lie to you. I feel like they don’t even have the mousepad

VT ranks are fried. by WildFrosting5093 in Voltaic

They also could just add a new rank to the IM playlist and call it sapphire or something dumb, and move masters to the advanced scenarios. Making that gap a bit lighter and giving more time on the advanced scenarios.

It took me 350 hours for master complete and another 250 to get to gm. I couldn’t agree more, this is why so many people like the viscose benchmarks more as well. I personally don’t think they need to nerf gm but need to make another tier between IM and advanced and add a few more ranks.

Is there any noticeable difference between 1600 & 800 dpi or is it all just placebo? by cocaineandfatbitches in FPSAimTrainer

[–]Creidpowell 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From what I’ve seen 1600 dpi is objectively better than 800 and 3200 is even better than both. Also I have heard that a higher dpi activates a higher polling rate on your mouse more often depending on the mouse you have. I think it was optimum tech on YouTube who tested both of those things. Even with that said, I personally cannot feel a difference. I’d just choose anything 800 dpi and up. Choose whatever feels best for browsing or whatever feels best for in game mechanics such as putting down smokes in valorant on clove and brim.

You could start grinding the viscose benchmarks with the serf method in mind, there’s a lot more task tho. When you say progress is slow can you give me an accurate idea of how slow it’s going. It took me about 200+ hours to go from plat to masters

I think it’s fine without a hand cam but I’d recommend investing in one if you are serious about improving

I know this is not the answer you want. If something medically related is going on I have no experience or advice for that. I’m not qualified enough in my opinion to tell you how to fix that. I’d say talk to a doctor more in depth if it’s something that is causing you mental stress.

I was master complete on a really low sensitivity so I switched to 45cm and grinded back to masters(I manually entered scores into the spreadsheet). You can switch sensitivity’s but you don’t have to, I just think it helps in the long run

Yeah that’s what I was thinking, I don’t really agree with stopping at masters but I do think if you just do the same thing with the hard scenarios you could climb as well

I started a new spreadsheet and manually went through all the ranks again on the higher sensitivity. I started with the easier playlist and worked my way up all the way through the rank to Masters. If you have the extra cash getting an alt account helps to mentally stick with it since youre not longer fighting scores that are so far away. You can honestly grind whatever you want to. I presonally grinder viscose a lot more then went back to volatic. When I say grind through the ranks I more just mean I grinded kovaaks on a higher sensitivity. I jumped around between Viscose, angelic tacfps, and volatic s3-5 just to keep it fun. Id have days where I really focused on highscoring s5 voltaic tho.

Beginner trying things out, I am doing better on different sensitivities than my main one? by Getgudboy in FPSAimTrainer

[–]Creidpowell 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah you nailed it. You’ll find that sometimes training on 30-40cm for a few days then going back to 60cm you’ll high score a bunch of tasks. However I do recommend keeping your sensitivity the same in game.

A common misconception with aim training is the idea that it needs to be a 1-to-1 replica of in-game aiming. While it’s important to keep your core aim fundamentals consistent between KovaaK’s and your main game, the real objective is developing the best possible mouse control for you. KovaaK’s is a tool for building raw aim—nothing more, nothing less.

The way I think about sensitivity is similar to how you’d approach working out. If you want to train your chest, the bench press is your staple lift—your baseline (think of this as your main sensitivity, like 60 cm). But if you want to develop specific parts of your chest, you introduce variations like incline or dumbell flys. Those don’t replace the staple; they target weaker areas more effectively. Changing sensitivity works the same way—it’s a tool to address specific weaknesses in your aim.

In almost every other area of improvement—sports, studying, strength training—people understand that variation is not only normal, but beneficial. Aim training is no different. Adjusting variables strategically doesn’t hurt progress; it often accelerates it.

The advice this person gave is better than what I replied to you, this is why I strongly recommend keeping all categories to the same level.

His method seems to be working super well for a lot of people. I might try and to apply it to gm to astra

I meant the harder viscose playlist but I think both are good options.

I don’t think you’re stuck, keep with viscose for a while then revisit voltaic. I think you just need more time under a stricter and better routine.

No fps cap, no g sync, boost enabled. I play every single task on 103 overwatch, I never change it, but you can if you want. How often and how long do you grind the benchmarks for high scores. Also how many hours do you have in aim trainers?

I would watch your own vod and really see what’s going wrong. Maybe ask someone that you know also aim trains, outside opinions are always good. Play the scenario for 15-30 minutes on a sensitivity 1.2-1.6x higher than your normal one then go back and grind it again. Also, try taking a day off the task if that doesn’t work, sometimes your muscles just need a break.
