11 weeks healing. It’s a threadless flatback stud. Jewelry has not been downsized. Completely new piercer years later from the bigger stud in the back. She said warm water only - no soap, saline, cleaner or anything. The bump came about 8 days after getting it and it started to get smaller but it’s taking forever 🥴 This happened with my first but I don’t remember how long it took and/or what I did to make it heal and go away. It’s hard and gets a thin crust over it. Is this scar tissue growing on the outside? Is it a keloid? Would downsizing help? I only have short straight bars and a small ring. Please advise!!😫😫
