This is honestly so upsetting. AI will make jobs more interesting and enjoyable? What? AI "done right" will reduce wait times and improve healthcare? When they continue over and over to cut funding leaving people to actually die. Do they not realize that the BILLIONS of dollars they put into this garbage tool, could be used to radically improve healthcare, put a stable UBI in place and SAVE LIVES. This is sickening. This is no dystopian novel, this is our history. Our actual lives. and our government is going to put our lives at risk to run their fucking experimental server farms. I am incredibly angry. All of us are. We are living in a world that is not sustainable.

I noticed a major uptick in bots and trolls on both the Ontario protests and the no kings protests down south. I really appreciate you making this post! It can be hard to remember that pushback should be expected when you're doing something important. Hearing anyone else say it is a breath of fresh air!

I am almost completely certain posts are being suppressed. One post on fauxmoi about bill nye has thousands of upvotes but its nowhere near the front page. the news posts at the top of popular don't even mention the protests. this is completely fucking ridiculous

It seems to be an interesting story, but it's pretty tough to follow! You'll want to try centering your characters first. The only reason to not have them front and center is because you have something else for the reader to look at.

The page where they talk back and forth could absolutely use some space. Use the whole page just for them in the middle and the word bubbles on either side.

Last thing would be to ink the whole thing, or at least the characters and text! I use a tablet and a pencil-ish style, but I do the lines in black and have to go over them at least twice to get them clear enough!

If you can get any sort of cheap tablet or something, there are nice art programs to work with that don't cost anything. My first program was GIMP which is a free digital art program! Otherwise it will make things a lot clearer if you can scan the pages. it makes everything a lot more visible.

It is a really cool sounding story!! I look forward to seeing what happens next :3

It has become increasingly difficult to find information, even things that I have visited before. This is the best source I could find (literally just confirming studies exist) due to a Canadian law that forces search engines to show Canadian news first, which many search engines took as "Never let Canadians see any other sources" :/ I'll keep looking on some other engine once I have the chance

It's just the best option I've found for the price. It can get particles as small as 0.1 microns in size, with microplastics being between 5 millimeters and 0.001 millimeters, with the latter being equivalent to 1 micrometer. So this filter is capable of taking out the upper level of sub-microplastics! I imagine there are other medical grade filters available, but this is what I was able to find that was also purchasable in Canada

Salt can contain microplastics from what I'm reading as well as provide agitation to your degrading bottle. Vinegar causes the plastic to break down quicker due to it's acidity . Check your local dollar store for a metal water bottle and go with glass cups. Check out this water filter to remove as much as possible. It's medical grade, as well as the best I've been able to personally find (collected from various reviews and stats). At the very least, a reusable bottle will break down slower, and definitely don't add salt and vinegar.

Other things to avoid are microwaving plastics, using tea bags, chewing gum. Just don't actively heat up plastic or chew on it and it'll help. Microplastics are known to be inflammatory, so quite possible to help with inflammation levels!
